It has been brought to my attention by Dante Shepherd of Surviving The World that The National Marrow Donor Program is offering free registration as a marrow donor until the end of January.  Usually, it costs $100 to process the registration (due to the need to test samples and provide testing kits and all) but American Express has given them a grant covering those expenses for this limited time.

Bone Marrow donation is incredibly important and requires a significantly more exact match than, for example, blood typing, so if you’re interested, go read up on it and, if you are able, please register as a donor.  You’ll receive a kit in the mail so that you can provide a cheek swab.  You follow the instructions in the kit and send it in.  If they ever need your marrow, they’ll contact you.  You are able to cancel your registration at any time, even after they call, but it’s certainly preferable that you only register if you’re actually committed to being a donor.

In other, less important, news:  The comic’s still late and I apologize for that.  It’ll be up when I get it finished.  We’ve been remarkably busy and, to be honest, I’ve been taking some time to slack off.  i know it’s unprofessional, but “All work and no play makes Chryss a dull girl”.  Thanks for your patience.

Also, the Second DigiCon is approaching quickly and I will absolutely be participating!  I’ll be making some changes to the site to reflect that here shortly, so stay tuned!
