Haha! So we finally see what sort of rodents they’re up against!
The idea for this one was to have each of them focusing so hard on the task at hand that the world sort of blurs out. I hope that came across ok.
As far as the sewer bunny’s teeth go, there’s a funny story behind them. A few months ago, I did this great mouth for a creature I was working on for a contest. Unfortunately the rest of the creature didn’t go nearly so well and it never got finished. At the time I decided to just leave it be, I swore I’d find a use for that mouth because it was wicked awesome and had taken ages to do. When I went to do the bunny I discovered it was the perfect time to finally use that mouth, so I just copied and pasted it and did the rest sort of around it. I know it’s a totally different style and doesn’t really fit the cel-shaded-ness of the rest of the strip, but man does it look fearsome!
Thanks to all of you who have been voting for us over at TWC. I was so amazed at how quickly we got within the top 200 last month, and I hope to get up to the top 100 this month.
