So here’s some beautiful guest art from the inimitable Hushicho of Incubus Tales!  I met Hushi at the first ever Digi-Con and he’s such a warm and fun individual.  It was actually his idea to use guest art during the comic hiatus!

In his own words:

“Incubus Tales is a sexy satire following the adventures of a charming Incubus shopkeeper named Dhiar. Each chapter deals with a new subject of satire, varying from Camelot to Jane Austen to Flash Gordon. It is, of course, for
mature audiences.”

I have read through the archives and it really is a very well-drawn and hilariously-written comic.  It is most certainly adult as Dhiar has a tendency not to wear clothing terribly often (not to mention all the sexy bits) but it’s not by any means “porn with some story thrown in”.  You should definitely go check it out.

This week’s guest art is brought to you by the lovely Liz Staley of Adrastus, a twice-weekly graphic-novel style webcomic about a young woman and her alien giant robot.  I’ve been sitting here for twenty minutes trying to come up with a good description but the one on the front page of Adrastus says it all:

Sarah Bryant was just a normal college girl living a normal life: racing motorcycles and working on cars at her shop in between classes and studying. But that all changed when three mysterious men in black suits showed up in her life, hell-bent on killing or capturing her. At the advice of Agent Michael Baxter, from a secret government agency known as Sector Seven, Sarah returns to her parent’s ranch to find out the truth.
And the truth is that the Bryant family has been hiding an alien robot, used by Sarah’s father, Johnny, to save the world over twenty years ago. The aliens that tried to invade then, called the Varugo, are making another attempt at enslaving Earth. With the Adrastus robot in pieces, Sarah and her family start preparing for the oncoming battles.

Seriously, how awesome is that?  And it’s 100% safe for work (unlike the past two guest pieces) so anyone can go see!  Just don’t forget to come back for next week!
